Davis and Elkins college offers a minor in Spanish. To be eligible to begin coursework toward the minor, a student will need to have 12 credit hours at the college level in Spanish or an equivalent certification showing at least Intermediate-Mid Proficiency.
To complete the coursework for a minor, a student would then need to take three more 3-hour courses, for a total of 21 hours.
The courses are;
Spanish 209 - "Beyond the Intermediate Mid Plateau" (Improving proficiency in the direction of Advanced Proficiency)
Spanish 211 - "Professional Spanish" (Aligning Spanish with your major field of study)
Spanish 310 - "Spanish Through Hispanic Cultural Lenses" (Expanding Perspectives Through Culture)
